“Je t’aime, je t’aime” by Alain Resnais (1968) failed to make an impression at the box office, but I’m sure it has impressed the likes of Gilliam, Gondry, Lynch, Nolan and many others. It was shot in Brussels & Ostend, Belgium. Here’s Claude Rich and other members of the cast on various locations in Brussels … Resnais, movie master of time and memory indeed!
