The Deutsche Kinemathek – Museum für Film und Fernsehen has taken the Werner Herzog Collection, a collection of works by the author and director, into its archives. The Werner Herzog Collection will be housed at the foundation Deutsche Kinematek Berlin and will be available to the public in 2010. The collection will contain of  Werner Herzog’s papers, worksheets, photos, posters, critics, screenplays etc. collected during his career as filmmaker, producer, writer, actor or stage director (to only name a few) of nearly 50 years. We will inform you the moment the collection can be accessed.

If all goes well, the Sammlung Werner Herzog will see its vernissage during the Berlinale – http://www.berlinale.de/ – in February (2010-02-11 > 21).
