San Zhi Kosmos

My pix (none are to be used without giving explicit credit) are from 2005-10-31 … when my analog camera was on its last legs …

Bonus: ace photographer Pieter Morlion pointed the way to this pop video clip shot at the Kosmos ruins – check it @ + see also Flickr /photos/pietermorlion/tags/kosmos/  [had to edit the link url ‘cuz uvva bug in Posterous].

Incidentally, Bruno Dumont shot some scenes of L’humanitéau Kosmos, and Wouter Deprez wrote a cool article on it – sadly it’s not online but you can find it in his book Ontdekt de wereld (met foto’s van Jonas Lampens)” (De Bezige Bij 2011, ISBN 978908542284).

Haven’t visited anything like San-Zhi yet, sadly. Discovering this Taiwanese ruin made me wonder how Kosmos looks like now … though I’m sure Boards of Canada will have no doubts as to which location to pick for a video ;-/,_Taipei

Hey and what’s your favourite abandoned place (seen live or on photo)?
